The DC ionizing system can generate ions in a larger amount with lower voltage and current as well as ionize more powerfully than AC ionizing method.
As the DC method generates ions from a pair of discharge needles (plus and minus) respectively in the same polarity, it can carry ions far away even without air-blow, making use of the Coulomb's force---ions with the same polarity repulse and that of different polarity attract each other.
